Lord," Martha said to Jesus, "if You had been here — my brother would not have died!" John 11:21

We often think, if God were with us, and for us — such trials would not befall us. But He sends the trials in order to display His kindness and care! Whatever the Lord does for us, however painful, is a benefit — and therefore calls for praise and thanksgiving.
